The first race of the season has already finished. I tried to attack in the beginning of the race however the speed was so high that I was in the front for only two kms. Then Europcar started riding and the speed was even higher. What is surprising I lost contact with the first group on the descent. There were many guys who were afraid of descending. My brother Tomek was in good shape however missed the breakaway group. What a pity... Tomek finished 44th and 75th. The next race, Etoile de Besseges starts on Wednesday.
